Description
Responsible for winning designs and driving revenue through the management of accounts across our embedded businesses.
The successful candidate will have a good mix of commercial acumen and technical interest. You will identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts. Establish and cultivate relationships with key individuals at new accounts and nurture relationships as well as educate our fellow travellers (other sales and marketing teams, distributors, vendors, OEMs, MNCs, etc.) in support of assigned accounts.
Ensure that goals are consistent with Intel’s strategic direction of:
- Maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and long-term
- Increasing the preference for Intel architectures among assigned customers.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned quarter and annual billings and design-win quotas in conjunction with the Field Applications Engineer
- Communicating strategies to customers and appropriate Intel personnel to obtain required support and coordination.
- Develop a clear understanding of roadmaps, goals, strategies, and business practices, including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics.
This position is an Inside sales position based in Gdansk, Poland, but may require an occasional visit to customers and/or training opportunities.
Qualifications
- BSc degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Business / Marketing
- Minimum one year in computer/IT sales. Knowledge of the embedded market would considered as an additional value.
- The ability to quickly and effectively assess the customers’ business model and goal(s) for growth with Intel products.
- Ability to start and drive sales projects with customers
- Ability to develop clear understanding of marketing strategy across the business segments and be able to effectively communicate to a broad set of customers.
- Demonstrable track record of working effectively with others to accomplish goals.
- Self starter, well organized with a passion to win is a must.
- Able to build great relationship with customers mostly by phone/e-mail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in both spoken & written English and native or fluent knowledge of one or more of the following languages; German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic or Hebrew
