Part of the CD PROJEKT S.A. (responsible for the worldwide success of The Witcher, the video game series adapted from Andrzej Sapkowski’s books), GOG.com is a digital distribution platform, which offers customers the greatest selection of PC, Mac and Linux games, both classics and day-one titles, DRM-free, with lots of extra goodies and amazing customer support. At GOG.com we are passionate gamers talking to other gamers and we are currently looking for a Community Specialist who will be making sure that the GOG.com forum is a great and lively place and will be responsible for all community related projects.

Responsibilities:
- Representing GOG.com on the forums – animating the community, tracking user sentiment and steering community discussion whenever needed, sorting out problems, and making sure that the GOG.com experience is as enjoyable a place as possible.
- Cooperating with other big communities – finding new digital venues where GOG.com can talk to gamers and shape our presence there..
- Planning and organizing community-related actions.
- Preparing internal community digests highlighting big topics and general community trends throughout the GOG.com channels (forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
- Working on improving the forum experience together with other GOG.com teams. This involves both planning and coordinating such efforts.
- Representing the voice of our gaming community in internal discussions and brainstorms.
- Working hand in hand with the rest of the PR, Marketing & Community teams in order to deliver the strategic goals set for the team and the company.
- Supporting the PR team by engaging in Facebook and Twitter interaction with our community.

Job Requirements:
- Great familiarity with video games and video game culture.
- Solid knowledge about gaming communities such as reddit or 4chan.
- Prior record of forum engagement and online communities management in an international environment, either professionally or privately.
- An ease in building relationships and handling challenging topics both online and offline.
- A proactive approach in searching and providing new ideas.
- Excellent spoken and written English with a focus on copywriting.
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to plan and organize workflow.
- High self-motivation and initiative, team spirit, and a positive “can do!” attitude.
- Flexibility in terms of work hours – our community and social channels will be counting on you; sometimes in later hours of the day.
